It’s October - the perfect time to raise money for Main St. (formerly Pine2Pink), a local non-profit that benefits breast cancer patients in treatment and recovery in our area. The Black Bass and Golden Pheasant Inn are turning our River Road restaurants pink as we team up for this great event.
As Main Streets change to Pink Street throughout the area, we’re adding some pink to the Black Bass and Golden Pheasant Inn's menus this month. We're also donning pink to show our support for breast cancer awareness. Join us and try our pink specialty cocktails: Raspberry Lemon Drop and Cranberry Old Fashioned. If a sweet treat is more to your liking, try a slice of our Classic Red Velvet Cake! A portion of all proceeds will be donated to Main St.
After 6 years Pine2Pink is now Main St, why? At the heart of every small town is a Main St, a focal point of a community, a meeting place for connection and celebration. Main St. with its hug symbol reinforces that our friends, neighbors and loved ones battling breast cancer are not alone.
